Kino-X - Where Innovation Meets Impact
The Microsoft EPIC Summer Programs are FULLY VIRTUAL and led by Dr. Cesare Wright—former Rice University and University of St. Thomas professor, creator of the Microsoft EPIC/FAST/VIP programs, and a nationally recognized expert in emerging technology, digital media, and STEM education.
With a career spanning academic leadership, industry partnerships, and hands-on technology training, Dr. Wright has designed innovative programs that bridge the gap between engineering, media production, and leadership development. Under his guidance, campers will engage in cutting-edge, project-based learning experiences that empower them to master digital media production, AI, AR/VR, content creation, esports production, drones, and more.
Dr. Wright co-developed the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership (RCEL) program at Rice University. He created and led the RCEL Internship Program, which achieved 100% internship and career placement for Rice Engineering students for 7 straight years. Dr. Wright also increased Communication internships by 1000% during his 3yrs at Univ. of St. Thomas and created the first-ever team-based internship with FOX 26.
